Established in 2010 the Australia-China Youth Dialogue (ACYD) aims to promote frequent and meaningful engagement between young adults in China and Australia who are interested in furthering Australia-China relations. The Dialogue is held annually on an alternating basis between China and Australia.

The 2013 Australia-China Youth Dialogue will be held from 24 to 29 September in Canberra and Perth, Australia. Built around the theme The Asia Dream the Dialogue will bring 30 high calibre future leaders from Australia and China together to discuss, debate and analyse key issues that will shape Sino-Australian relations in the coming decades.

ANU College of Asia and the Pacific Alumni Delegate

In recognition of the impact ANU Asia and the Pacific alumni are having on Sino-Australian relations one ACYD delegate position is being offered exclusively to an alumnus of the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. This reserved position does not preclude more than one ANU Asia and the Pacific alumnus attending the Dialogue and thereby serves to increase ANU Asia and the Pacific alumni chances of participating in the program. As an added bonus the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific alumni delegate will receive a $500 travel subsidy. If you are travelling internationally to attend the Dialogue this subsidy will be in addition to that which you receive from the ACYD, bringing the total travel subsidy to $1000.
