FKP attendance in second half of 2018

The largest make up of attendees continues to be university, research group and government research and development (R&D or in Indonesian, penelitian dan pengembangan/litbang) employees, and in the second half of 2018 they make up 65% of attendees. The second largest group of attendees are government non R&D staff, about 19%. There were a large number in the ‘others’ category. Since the sign up sheet is to a large extent self-reported, further investigation is needed on they type of organisations which can not be accommodated in the other categories.

The FKP was instrumental in staging many important seminars during this period, including the BIES Economic Dialogue and Forums in December (hosted by CEDS Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Cenderawasih and Universitas Pattimura).  In collaboration with BAPPENAS and Bank Indonesia Institute, in November the FKP hosted aspecial lecture by Professor Geoffrey Hewings (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA) on the topic of economic impact assessment which was attended by about 90 people from various government agencies and think tanks, as well as graduate students based in the greater Jakarta are. The rest of 2018 compared to previous years is given below.
