Wednesday, 8 March, 2017 - 12:00 to 14:00

In light of the constant publication pressures on academics, ANU College of Asia and the Pacific Research Services team, in collaboration with the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific Communications & Marketing have developed a series of workshops throughout 2017 to help you keep up with the demands of the ever-changing funding landscape.

To kick off this series we’ll be exploring “Managing and Raising Your Research Profile”.

Harnessing your personal profile (or personal brand) can be a powerful tool – to help others understand your identity, values or research area expertise. Help others understand why they should engage in your research. Explain why your research matters.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided

Lizzy joined ANU in May 2016, following an extensive career at Woolworths Limited in their Marketing and Corporate Affairs division.

“My role here is to lead the experience of the ANU brand across our audiences and I think a lot of people think that brand is more about what things look like but it's actually about the experience. So I lead that but I lead that alongside a number of other people. A big part of my role is to be able to pull everybody together to collaborate to really live and breathe the values of ANU.”
