Viability modelling is now recognised by a growing number of scientists as a relevant framework for sustainability and the management of ecological-economic risks and vulnerabilities. In the context of dynamic systems, the aim of the viability approach is to identify states and controls that ensure the safety of the system through various constraints to be satisfied throughout time.
