CartoGIS is again running its training session "Intro to Adobe Illustrator & MapsOnline” in 2017. The three hour training session is available on Wednesday 12 April and Thursday 13 April.

Learn how to access, download and customise the bespoke maps available on CartoGIS's Asia-Pacific MapsOnline website.

asiapacific.anu.edu.au/mapsonline/

You'll be shown how to navigate the site, understand the difference in file formats offered, their intended uses and how to download a map file.  Then using Adobe Illustrator CC we'll teach you introductory skills in editing a downloaded map. At the completion of the course you'll have learnt how to customise a map to suit your needs and have it ready for inserting into your thesis or presentation or to forward directly to your publisher.
