The UN High Level Panel (HLP) on Water was officially launched in April 2016 in New York and includes 11 world leaders (Including Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull) and one special advisor. The task of the panel is to support Sustainable Development Goal 6 ‘Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all’ . The HLP also contributes to the achievement of the other SDGs that rely on the development and management of water resources.
