Roundtable Discussion: Recent changes in governance and the law in the PRC and Taiwan

During this roundtable the speakers will offer a comparative perspectives on legal changes during the Xi Jinping era in the PRC and Taiwan. The discussion will focus on three key themes: the influence of politics on the administration of justice in both jurisdictions, criminal justice reforms, and judicial reforms and judicial independence in both contexts.

2018 regional elections in Indonesia

The upcoming 2018 regional elections is the second leg of the newly-implemented simultaneous regional elections in Indonesia. The first leg took place in 2017 in 101 regional governments including the provincial, district and city levels.
