Half-day workshop

Tuesday, 19 June, 2018 - 13:00 to 17:00

In this hands-on workshop you will use ArcGIS to create and manage vectors – the core of much GIS mapping and analysis. You will georeference an image to existing data and employ several strategies for digitising data. You will also learn to improve the quality of your data and outputs by checking for logical consistency and correcting errors (which may arise/ introduced in the digitisation process).

This course is only available to CAP academic and professional staff and PhD students.

When: 1 – 5pm, 19 June

Where: Menzies Library Flex Lab (Level 3, Building 2)

This course complements, but does not require, GIS experience gained in GIS Basics for Research (GIS100).
