Indonesia is planning to undertake a huge expansion in its electricity base in the next few years. Installed capacity is expected to increase significantly over the current capacity by 2025. Private sector investors are likely to play an important role in coming years. In this context, cost may be a key issue for all stakeholders (investors, consumers, and policy makers).
