Long Lunch Two

Lotus Hall, China in the World Building (188), Fellows Lane, ANU

Tuesday, 13 November, 2018 - 12:00 to 14:00
Sponsored by ANU Postgraduate and Research Students' Association (PARSA) and ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, the Long Lunch is a meeting place for good food and interesting chats - across cultures and across disciplines.
You will be savouring the Chinese Gong Bao Chicken, Indonesian Gado Gado, Japanese sushi, Vietnamese rice paper roll, and Korean bibimbap all in one place. You will have spontaneous conversations about the rapid strengthening of Artificial Intelligence capacity in Asia, the seemingly untameable effects of Anthropocene, the obscure history of Thai Royals, the Australia-Indonesian relations, the life-saving genome project that cures all diseases, the mysterious forces of dark matters, and the combination of Indigenous dances and techno music.
This free event gives you the complete freedom to explore beyond the comfort of your cultures and disciplines.
