Friday, 7 December, 2018 - 09:30 to 11:00

This seminar will present research on the electricity-income relationship in Thailand, using provincial data from 2006 to 2016. The research seeks to find whether the effect of income on electricity demand varies with the level of income. Various econometric techniques are applied to estimate the income elasticity of electricity demand in the short run, in five- and ten-year periods, and in the long run.
