In recent years, Australian governments have developed policies to expand access to solar PV to vulnerable households. The study conducts a retrospective analysis of the impacts of solar PV for these households. It finds that vulnerable households with solar PV have lower energy expenditures, and lower likelihood of experiencing energy poverty based on objective indicators.
