Stephen Cleary, the cofounder of Thai Blogs, has written a very pithy outline of a strategy for 10 new provinces for Thailand. He introduces some classic and refreshing provincial titles.
“Kluaypun Buri” (The Province of the Banana Shake) and “Rot Kheng Nakhon” (The Province of Mad Racing) are, in my view, worth further exploration. In Cleary’s proposal, “Buddie Maew Buri” will be a designated province for Prime Ministerial cronies.
I hope the Interior Minister is reading. On second thoughts…
