Some notable news from SOAS this week:
The SOAS Students Union has awarded the title of Honorary President of the Student Union to Burmese NLD leader, Aung San Suu Kyi.
The award ceremony took place on the 11th anniversary of Aung San Suu Kyi’s house arrest and was one of many events held around the world to mark the date.
