On Wednesday evening, the exciting new website, Burma Gateway, will be officially launched in Sydney.
As the site continues to grow, and more resources are added, it should become an outstanding resource for those, in Australia and around the world, who are keen to learn more about the Burmese story. An increasing number of Burma-related websites, including New Mandala, are starting to use Burma Gateway’s impressive suite of interactive tools. As capacities for online collaboration and sharing mature, a site like Burma Gateway is well positioned to serve as a linchpin in national and international networks.
This is definitely one site to watch.

Please note: New Mandala encourages vigorous debate. However, for the moment we will only be publishing high-quality comments that make original contributions to discussion. There will, of course, still be space for pithy, humorous, eccentric and cheeky input. Short and sweet will usually trump long and involved. Repetitive ranting, unimaginative point-scoring and idle abuse will not be entertained. Comments which carry a real name are also more likely to be approved. Thank you for your ongoing interest and contributions.
