I'm a little ashamed to plug my book once again, but 'Ethnic Politics in Burma: States of Conflict' (Routledge - published in June) contains much information and analysis re. Burma's 'Special Regions' - including the KIO [Kachin], NMSP [Mon], UWSA [Wa], MNDAA [Kokang], KDA [Kachin], DKBA [Karen] and PNO [PaO] ceasfire areas.

Hi Nicolas I am interested in the words you posted above about carrying out research in SR, as i might do so during the years of doing development work there. Would be interested to chat more by email. Thanks. Sujun
