…in the final weeks of a big year in mainland Southeast Asia. 

The New Light of Myanmar reports on a notable meeting of worlds:

Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan received Vice-President Mr Makin Petplai and party of Shin Satellite Public Co, Ltd from Thailand at Myanma Radio and Television on Pyay road, here, at 2 pm today. Also present on the occassion were departmental heads and officials of the ministry.

Alas, the junta mouthpiece doesn’t give any details about this meeting.  New Mandala readers who know more are welcome to post comments on what appear to be enduring Shin links to Burma…
