1000th New Mandala post

December 23rd, 2007 by Nicholas Farrelly · Add a Comment

Readers will be interested to know that this is the 1000th New Mandala post since the site was launched on 16 June 2006.  Since then we have also received well over 7000 comments from readers.  Tonight will be a busy one for New Mandala, and for many of our regular contributors and commentators.  Once the dust from the Thai election has settled Andrew and I will put together a more substantial post to mark this milestone and the end of 2007.  In the meantime, we would just like to offer a big thank you to everyone for stopping by.  And please don’t hesitate to get in touch: nicholas.farrelly@balliol.ox.ac.uk.

Please note: New Mandala encourages vigorous debate. However, for the moment we will only be publishing high-quality comments that make original contributions to discussion. There will, of course, still be space for pithy, humorous, eccentric and cheeky input. Short and sweet will usually trump long and involved. Repetitive ranting, unimaginative point-scoring and idle abuse will not be entertained. Comments which carry a real name are also more likely to be approved. Thank you for your ongoing interest and contributions.
