In November last year I highlighted a job that was being advertised at The Myanmar Times. Flicking through their website today I noticed that they are now hiring again, and are needing people to fill a large number of positions including the role of Expatriate Sales & Marketing Consultant. We don’t usually advertise positions vacant but, mostly because I find the whole business of this paper deeply intriguing, I have made an exception. If anyone out there in the New Mandala audience gets a job at “Myanmar’s first international weekly” it would be great to hear how you get on.

Please note: New Mandala encourages vigorous debate. However, for the moment we will only be publishing high-quality comments that make original contributions to discussion. There will, of course, still be space for pithy, humorous, eccentric and cheeky input. Short and sweet will usually trump long and involved. Repetitive ranting, unimaginative point-scoring and idle abuse will not be entertained. Comments which carry a real name are also more likely to be approved. Thank you for your ongoing interest and contributions.
