The Nation has a quick summary of the latest edition of The King of Thailand in World Focus (a lively discussion related to the previous edition is available here). I have yet to see this version but would be interested to hear the thoughts of those who have. According to the summary:
…articles touch on the Crown Property Bureau, His Majesty’s concept of the sufficiency economy and reviews of the banned book “The King Never Smiles”. The five-month ban on YouTube, the video-sharing website, is discussed, as well as the case of the Swiss expat who was given a royal pardon after he spray-painted portraits of the monarch.
It is reportedly available for 1450 baht. I am very curious about its actual contents; as I expect many New Mandala readers are.

Please note: New Mandala encourages vigorous debate. However, for the moment we will only be publishing high-quality comments that make original contributions to discussion. There will, of course, still be space for pithy, humorous, eccentric and cheeky input. Short and sweet will usually trump long and involved. Repetitive ranting, unimaginative point-scoring and idle abuse will not be entertained. Comments which carry a real name are also more likely to be approved. Thank you for your ongoing interest and contributions.
