Committee member for reconciliation Anusorn Tamajai on Thursday floated an idea to form two elected bodies respectively in charge of charter rewrite and country’s reforms. “Complex problems require comprehensive reforms and the structural revamp needs the participation of the people,” he said.
Two elected bodies? Participation? Where could this end?

A Myanmar newspaper says authorities have arrested an American man who allegedly swam across a lake and snuck into the lakeside home of detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
