Low hanging fruit in Australia's climate policy

Crawford School researchers Professor Frank Jotzo and Professor Warwick McKibbin say ample opportunities exist to reduce emissions and harvest the low-hanging fruit of emissions savings. Their latest paper says Australia has a history of fragmented and politically contested climate policy, and current climate policy is both piecemeal and limited in scope and ambition.
