Crawford School’s Professor Miranda Stewart will be one of the panellists on tonight’s Q&A show on ABC TV.
Professor Stewart – the Director of the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute at Crawford School, at ANU College of Asia & the Pacific – will be part of the post-budget panel looking at the issues from a busy week in politics.
She will be joined on the panel by the Minister for Education Simon Birmingham, Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen, Queensland Greens Senator Larissa Waters, and the CEO of the Australian Industry Group Innes Wilcox.
Q&A is a weekly news and public events panel discussion show on ABC TV. It is filmed before a live studio audience, and this week is being broadcast from the Arts Centre on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Miranda Stewart researches tax law and policy, including taxation of business entities in the context of globalisation, not-for-profits, tax and development, budget laws and institutions, and legitimacy for tax reform processes and institutions nationally and internationally.
