The trillion dollar scandal

Every year, developing countries lose more than a trillion dollars to crime, bribery, money laundering, tax evasion and corruption.

In part, this illegal activity is aided by poor corporate regulation in developed countries. The ONE campaign has released a paper titled The Trillion Dollar Scandal, which challenges G20 countries to take action on the issue.

In this video Susan Harris Rimmer, from the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy, talks to ONE’s David McNair about the report and what the campaign hopes to achieve.
