The District Commissioners’ Confidential Newsletter was distributed by the Resident Commissioner’s Office, Honiara, Solomon Islands, to District Commissioners as internal confidential memoranda. The title changed to Newsletter in 1962 and District Newsletter in 1968. Early issues were distributed monthly; later issues were intermittent. This set was retained by an officer of the British Colonial Service in the Solomon Islands from 1952 until 1974.
