Lutheran hospital 17 miles further around built by army medico - staff trained. Goes to Australia to improve surgical skills. One of the richest copra producing areas in the world. One of the richest islands for its size."

One of richest islands for its size - coconut plantations - about 11 Aid Posts. We stayed with Maureen Neville, home science teacher at the High School. Lutheran Hosp. 17 miles further round."
