Research interests
Tiejun specialises in the language, economics and economic development of China and Taiwan. She teaches the units 'Modern Chinese C, D, E, & F'. Ms Yang is currently researching the incorporation of Western economic thought in Chinese economic reforms. Her secondary research interest is in the comparative study of the syntactic structures of Chinese and English.
