ANU China exchange program

In December 1980, The Australian National University and Peking University signed an agreement on academic exchange.

The Program, which is administered by the College of Asia and the Pacific, provides ANU academic staff and postgraduate students wishing to undertake research in any discipline in China with accommodation at Peking University, a modest daily living allowance and some access to medical facilities.

Travel costs to and from China are not covered by this program. Research stays at Peking University are generally approved for periods of up to 3 months.

The Strategic Partnerships Office within the College of Asia and the Pacific calls for applications ANU-wide to undertake research in China - usually twice a year - and these are assessed by a committee.

Applications are now open for those wishing to spend time at Peking University in the second half of 2016. The application deadline is 15 May 2016. Please complete the application and send to the Strategic Partnerships Office via email.
