ANU-Columbia University Research Symposium on Asia and the Pacific Region
ANU and Columbia University have agreed to launch a framework to foster research collaboration, known as the ANU-Columbia University Research Symposium on Asia and the Pacific. The annual symposium will shift between Canberra, New York and locations in Asia. The initial meeting took place in New York in March 2012. See ANU and Columbia forge new directions in Asia-Pacific research
The specific purpose of this inaugural symposium is to introduce interested Columbia and ANU scholars to each other and to identify several concrete collaborative research initiatives that particular scholars wish to carry forward themselves. The symposium will have a number of themed panels, which will focus on future directions for research on topics that cut across existing disciplinary categories. RSAP Fellows interested in being involved in developing this initiative should contact the CAP Research Office at researchoffice.cap@anu.edu.au.
