Professor John Blaxland

Hedley Bull Centre (130), Garran Road, ANU

Sunday, 26 August, 2018 - 10:00 to 11:30

This game theory immersion activity gives students a taste of what it takes to tackle a regional crisis.

In this interactive activity participants will be divided into different government agencies who will respond to the hypothetical crisis as it unfolds. Participants will present their recommendations to a 'National Security Council' to develop an official response, on behalf of the Australian Government.

Presented by Professor John Blaxland, Professor of International Security and Intelligence Studies, Director of the ANU Southeast Asia Institute and Head of the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at The Australian National University.
