ANU Korea Institute Film Night (students only): Assassination

Lotus Hall, China in the World Building (188), Fellows Lane, ANU

Friday, 6 August, 2021 - 17:00 to 20:00

Assassination (Choi Dong-hoon, 2015)

A rumination on the workings of history disguised as a blockbuster action film (or vice-versa), Assassination tracks a Korean resistance plot against Japanese rule in the early 20th century, with heaps of explosions and major film stars as assassins of various stripes. After a brief introduction and a screening, Professor Kyung Moon Hwang will lead a discussion.

This is a COVID-safe event for current ANU students ONLY. Please bring a copy of your student card.
