We are excited to have Olympic medalist and professional Taekwondo practitioner Cha Dong-min come to the ANU and present a Taekwondo workshop for ANU staff and students!

Cha Dong-min is an Olympic gold medalist and Taekwondo practitioner from South Korea. Mr Cha won a gold medal in the +80kg class at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and a bronze medal in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. As a global amassador for the sport, Mr Cha has spent the last few months in Australia playing a key role in developing Australia's upcoming Taekwondo athletes as a National Coach with Australian Taekwondo.
 
We are very privileged to have Mr Cha engage with ANU students and staff through this fantastic opportunity to learn Taekwondo from an Olympic medalist! This opportunity is open to ANU staff and students only, and all abilities are welcome.
Light refreshments will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to talk with Mr Cha and his team following the workshop.
There are only 30 spaces available for this event, so please be sure to register quickly!
 
What to bring?
Please bring water, and clothes you will feel comfortable moving around in. All other equipment will be provided.
