In Conversation with Dr Shiro Armstrong: Australia's future and the Asian economy

Australia's economic future lies in Asia, which is the centre of global economic activity and dynamism. But how will Australia manage a more assertive China, an escalating strategic rivalry between China and the United States, and a United States that has stepped away from global leadership?

Economist and Fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy within the ANU College of Asia and Pacific (CAP), Dr Shiro Armstrong discusses Australia's future and the Asian economy with CAP Head of Advancement, Dr Jason Ketter in our latest In Conversation event.

“The priority it to keep economies ticking over, keep businesses alive and keep people feed and housed during this crisis,” Dr Armstrong says.

CAP's In Conversation event series provides attendees with an opportunity to hear from, and engage with, leading academics from the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.

We were pleased to bring you this free event and ask for your consideration to support Dr Armstrong’s team and its work by making a donation to the East Asia Forum
