Hot Springs at Talasea. North coast of New Britain. Talasea is a new Government Harbour on the north coast of New Britain. Two active volcanoes are in the vicinity and sulphur, mud or hotwater springs are scattered along the coast.

Rabaul Harbour from my bungalow. Beehive rocks and volcano Island in distance. Volcano island is the one thrown up in a night about 40/50 years ago, not the Beehives as so frequently stated.
