The Graduate Certificate of Engaging Asia builds intercultural leadership skills by offering multidimensional perspectives on key challenges facing Asia and our region, such as rising inequality, social upheaval, political transformation, and environmental crisis. It cultivates the self-reflective knowledge and analytical tools needed for engagement with Asia in a rapidly changing landscape.

Study experience

The Graduate Certificate of Engaging Asia is a 24-unit (six months full-time or part-time equivalent) program designed to suit the needs of professionals. Embedded in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific — home to one of the greatest collections of region-specific expertise and specialist academic programs in the English-speaking world — this degree will give you the opportunity to develop long-term networks with leading experts in regional affairs.

Graduate Certificate Fee Discounts

Graduate Certificate Fee Discounts for domestic students apply to courses completed in this Graduate Certificate within 2021 and the first half of 2022, allowing you to study part-time. If a full degree is not completed, the remainder of the courses will be billed on a full-fee bases from Semester 2 2022. View the reduce fees on the programs and courses website.

Credit toward your chosen Master degree

Upon successful completion of this program, you may be eligible to receive 24 units of credit toward the Master of Engaging Asia or the Master of Asian and Pacific Studies
