The Graduate Certificate of International Relations is a 24-unit program that provides you with the framework to identify, understand and reflect critically on the actors and processes that make up world politics.
You will be equipped with the ability to communicate findings in academic and practical contexts, justifying the approach and methods used to generate their analyses of the important issues shaping our world today.
Drawing on the regional experts at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific you will be able to combine the study of both global and Asia-Pacific politics.
Domestic applicants offered a place to study in this Graduate Certificate commencing their studies in 2021 will be eligible for reduced course fees.
This fee will apply to courses completed in this Graduate Certificate within 2021 and the first half of 2022 allowing you to study part-time.
If you do not complete the degree by mid-2022 the remainder of your subjects will be billed on a full-fee basis from the second semester (winter/spring) 2022.

You may wish to consider extending your Graduate Certificate to complete a Graduate Diploma or Master degree.
Your 24 units of study in the Graduate Certificate of International Relations may count as credit towards the Graduate Diploma of International Affairs or the Master of International Relations.
