Note

" Mrs. Lankshear & Miss Joy Fowles. The festoon pillars of the verandah had been decorated that morning, early, in honour of the visitors. The quarters of the Samoan Staff and some of the girls are at the rear. Most of the girls have their dormitories, of Samoan type of house, well to the left of this building. The hill to be seen at the back is part of the conical hill on which is the grave of Robert Louis Stevenson.” [Information from interleafing in album]
