The Master of Global Securities and Strategy is an entirely online, asynchronous program tailored for professionals seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge. It is designed to be completed part-time (2 years) allowing flexible learning, with courses taken individually in a structured sequence. This format accommodates busy schedules, enabling students to balance studies with work and personal commitments.

Students will embark on a journey through four core courses the first year, followed by four elective courses in the second year. Each course is delivered in a flexible seven-week block, allowing students to work at their own pace. The curriculum begins with Global Security, then progresses to Social and Environmental Conflicts in the Asia Pacific, Contemporary Issues in Technology Governance, and International Policy Making in the Shadow of the Future. The program culminates in a capstone experience where students will integrate the themes they've studied and engage in both individual and group reflection.

Despite the virtual nature of this award, students are guaranteed an immersive "ANU experience," complete with opportunities for interaction with faculty, peers, and industry experts. They will be taught by outstanding ANU academics, who lead their fields in research and teaching.
