The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) Student Ambassador program is an exclusive opportunity for ongoing CAP students to become actively involved in the promotion of the College, its programs and student experiences.
About the program
Student Ambassadors are current CAP students who are passionate about the College. Our team is comprised of enthusiastic and outgoing students from all backgrounds and areas of study who wish to share their academic experiences with others.
Student Ambassadors are employed as casual staff and assist the Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment team with various recruitment events and marketing activities throughout the year, primarily promoting the College to prospective students.
Successful applicants must be current ANU College of Asia and the Pacific students, and be willing to travel around the ACT and work flexible hours. They also must be willing to be profiled, photographed and videoed for ANU promotional activities.
These positions are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, including international students, who have at least one year of study left in their degree.
Excellent communication skills: Clear and effective communication is crucial. You should be able to articulate information clearly to both individuals and groups.
Leadership abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills are essential for organizing and leading campus tours, orientation sessions, and other events.
Time management: Balancing academic commitments with ambassadorial duties requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Social media savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms can be beneficial for promoting events, engaging with the student community, and sharing your experiences online.

- A one minute video recording answering the following questions: What inspired you to choose your particular degree? How you would describe ANU and/or your studies to a potential student? Why you would like to be a Student Ambassador? - The video can be sent as a OneDrive link, or other.
