The Graduate Diploma of International Affairs is a flexible 1-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) postgraduate qualification. What you’ll learn

The Graduate Diploma of International Affairs is a 48-unit program that explores how issues such as globalisation, development, democratisation, terrorism, human security, war and conflict drive political developments in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.

You will have access to a niche network of scholars from diverse backgrounds and be taught by globally recognised experts who are regular contributors to policymaking in Australia and the region. Their knowledge encompasses international theory, international security, international political economy, comparative politics, foreign policy analysis, human rights, and international institutions.

Pathway to a Master degree

You may wish to consider extending your Graduate Diploma to complete a Master degree. Study in the Graduate Diploma of International Affairs may count as credit towards the Master of Diplomacy, Master of International Relations, Master of Strategic Studies, Master of Pacific Development, Master of International Law and Diplomacy, or Master of Political Science.
